Anna Leason, LCSW
Anna is a compassionate and experienced therapist specializing in anxiety-related issues, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks, phobias, and general anxiety. She understands how anxiety can show up in many forms—whether as overwhelming dread, recurring thoughts, or constant worry—and believes in the transformative power of therapy to help individuals regain a sense of control and joy in their lives.
Anna’s approach to treatment includes a blend of evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-oriented therapy, and clinical hypnosis. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and post-graduate training in these specialized modalities, Anna is equipped to help clients navigate their emotional challenges and work toward healing and growth.
Anna also specializes in treating depression, helping clients overcome sadness, lack of joy, irritability, and self-esteem struggles, often caused by life stressors such as job loss, the death of a loved one, or divorce. She works with clients to address these feelings and supports them in rediscovering their sense of purpose and well-being.
With her diverse skills and a deep commitment to mental health, Anna offers a supportive, healing space for individuals to explore their emotions and develop lasting coping strategies.
